You needn't be. The way we see it, we did him a favour. We cemented his reputation as a ladies' man while simultaneously assuring that the witches 'round about Hogwarts will leave him alone for at least a while to come. Surely Mr Big-Nosed Berk is happy about that (if he's capable of feeling happiness, that is)?

And if Carrow'd hexed him, no loss. And if he'd had to hex her, no loss. And if Amycus came away from Lincoln Castle where he's hidden, and duelled Snivelly - again, no loss.

What's bad about this?
