Hogwarts Update

I write to apprise you of the situation here at Hogwarts, which I know has been distressing for you all.
Amycus Carrow has been accused of the murder of Hannah Abbott, the cruel hexing of Rabastan Lestrange, and the attempted hexing of Hydra Lestrange. Your Head Boy, Percy Weasley, heroically restrained Professor Carrow with the Imperius curse until help could be summoned. Professor Carrow is in custody at Hogwarts, under the guard of the MLE, until his punishment can be determined.
Students, please ignore Professor Carrow's statements. He is none of your concern; his fate is no longer in Hogwarts hands.
Professor Lestrange is convalescing. His wounds, while serious, are reparable.
As for Miss Abbott, she will be sorely missed. While her parents have requested that she be sent home for private burial, students who wish to pay their final respects may do so in the Hospital Wing between two o'clock and four o'clock today.
Exams will continue as planned. It will be best for us all to stick to our routines in this difficult, difficult time.
